It sounds like your vacation lock is on. This should not be engaged if you have to other way in. You will have to find another way in. You can unwire the wall station and put up a door bell type button so this won't happen again. At door dealerships you can get an emergency keyed release too that allows you to pull the red release cord with a key from the outside, 50 bucks or so. Thanks BB

Confusing. Door is down and you can't get inside. Push remote and light bulb flashes 10 times. That says safety beams not working, but that only effect door closing. Should open. Did someone lock door? Use your emergency release and disconnect door from opener,, assuming you or installer were smart enough to put one in.
the flashing may indicat that there is something blocking the sensor. How many flashes is important. can you get inside the garage to verify the safety sensors are in alignment? If not you may have a external release that disengages the door so you can open it manually.
