We replaced the motor coupler this morning and the washer still will not spin. The washer works. It will wash and agitate and drain the water but on the spin cycle it will not spin. It just clicks alot. What do you think the problem is? What should be my next move?

Hello! Could I ask for the model of your machine, please? The reason I ask is to help narrow down a potential cause. When a washer will agitate, drain, but not spin, there are a few things that could cause it. You have already addressed one of them by replacing the motor coupler. I am intrigued by the "clicking" sound that you describe. It could be a defective lid switch, that is the first thing that I'd check. It could also have to do with the motor or transmission, which is why I need the model number. Different manufacturers produced washers for Sears/Kenmore and the model number will help greatly.
