Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54GL Router
I have the above device. i have resetted if becasue i don't have teh settings for and or ip for it now it comes up with the following
Firmware Version WHITE RUSSIAN (0.9) Kernel Version Linux version 2.4.30 (nbd@ds10) (gcc version 3.4.4 (OpenWrt-1.0)) #1 Sat Feb 3 13:16:08 CET 2007 Current Date/Time Sat Jan 1 00:09:51 UTC 2000 MAC Address 00:18:F8:D2:95:C5
Please help if posible to get the original firmware back as I'm unable to log into this device

This Linksys does not have the firmware that normally comes with the Cisco Product, but has an open source, custom firmware, WRT Linux.. I have never loaded one with this firmware, but I believe you need to enter failsafe mode, and change the password.. then, I might suggest you load the original firmware from Linksys back on it..

out the IP address , Subnet mask,and Gateway addresses of your ISP ( Internet
Service Provider ). According to above addresses, you have to complete the network
settings of your printer by mentioning the different IP address .
To find out the above mentioned
addresses, first open the control panel -> network connections -> local area
connction -> properties -> Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPV4) OR
Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPV6)according to your ISP -> Properties
By the systematic selection as
mentioned above you will get the IP address, subnet mask and Gateway addresses.
Suppose your IP address is 192.168.0.10 , the
gateway may be 192.168.0.1 Or any number. And the subnet mask may be
to your ISP addresses you have to complete the network settings of your
printer. First press the additional functions -> system settings ->
network settings -> TCP/IP settings -> fill up the addresses as follows.
IP address : 192.168.0.16 OR any number .
subnet mask : XYY.XYY.XYY.0.
Gateway : 192.168.0.1
Hurray ! the problem about your network connection with the printer to your computer will be automatically solved.
