A faint horizontal bar slowly scrolls the picture from botton to top. It is about 2/3 of the screen when fully visable and is slightly darker that the rest of the picture. Sometimes when the bar gets to the top of the screen the tops 3 inches of the screen distorts like a VHS tape with the tracking out of adjustment. I have a Sony Trinitron XBR that I purchased in 2003. I use Direct TV HD with an HD DVR as well as an over the air digital converter for local channels.
