Burning rubber smell and not spinning anymore

Probably time for a new belt. Replacement can be obtained at just about any appliance store. You may have to drain the basket manually and tilt washer forward to change the belt.

Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washer went dead during fill cycle

Start with the capacitor. It has a funny smell when they go bad. The motor will smell bad as well when it burns up.

Slow agitating

Sounds like a failure in the gear case but the burning smell makes me wonder if you have a problem with the motor. You will need a appliance tech to verify
