Hello Hinden the problem is more than likely the vertical hold deflection IC that is faulty and has to be replaced, if you were to get a service tech out there to change it out this should be any from 60 to 100 dollars but it depends on the tech or repair shop thank you hope this helps.

The vertical sweep output section of your tV has the fault. Replace all the electrolytic capacitors [5 or 6 of them there] at one time. Height to the picture is more than normal is the fault now.

The Toshiba sets are well known for this problem, the tv has a vertical deflection issue caused by the vertical ic and a few small capacitors going bad, I recommend a tv technician for the repairs.

the problem is in vertical section of ur tv... the vertical ic may be gone...or it may be having loose contact...u can not do it ur self ...call a tech pro...

replaced this capacitors in vertical circuit.100 uf/50v,1uf/50v,1000 uf/25v,2.2uf/50v,47 uf/50v.this might not as exact as what is on ur tv.but, just replace those capacitors and see the result. hope this help u....

what do you mean that the picture streched out.this is a strange problem.as vertical problem does not strech it either have a line inthe middle of the raster, shrink both at the top and bottom of raster,lines run up and down on the raster.kindly explain your problem in detail then i will be able to help you.
