Lost function of remote and front panel buttons

After starting the car the other day, I lost all remote functions and all front panel functions except for power and CD eject. Anyone with a proposed fix?

Re: Lost function of remote and front panel buttons

It seems like the ribbon cable, the one connects the face to the main board is damage.
I don't know if you can replace it by your self, because you need a little bit of experience on stereo repair, but you can can order the part from
Part number 168795211

Usually there is a "video" button. It toggles between front & back RCA as well as any other options, like cable, etc. You may have pressed it on your tv or another remote, so be patient - you'll find the right setting again!

The button functions may be turned off so only the remote works. Look in the setup to see if you can disable front panel buttons.

Setting the clock

I found the solution to this:

With the ignition turned on use the source button to shut off the stereo. Press and hold the function button (in the upper right corner) for 2 seconds. The front panel will light up. Press the funtion button to get the display to cycle through the different options. When it displays the time, use the up and down and left and right keys, located just to the left of the funtion button to adjust the hours and minutes.
