Question about Empire ECS HB06M HearthRite Heater
Vokera excell 80 boiler.
Pilot light will not stay on when egnition switched is released!
Pilot light keeps going off and at times will not stay on, hence gas will not egnite to start boiler!
Just below where the pilot flame connects there is a nut that holds the flame in place remove and purchace a can of air..blow out so you have a blue flame.this happen to me every year once I blow out the dust or whatever is in there it has a nice blue flame which is the key indicator of how the heater operates...remember when you start to see an orange flame that should raise a flag that you need to clean out where the flame ignites and the gas goes through Good luck

The little copper tube that sits in the pilot flame is faulty. this is called a flame sensor. replace this and you should have no problems
