Password changing Hello I use netgear 4 wireless router (Netgear  WGR614 v7) and I want to change the password or to make it open access so that more than one person can access net at my place.  I lost the CD that came with the product.  Can i change the password now or not Thanks

Yes you can, you have to get to your netgear configuration screen which is usually 192.168.0.1

What is the WPA or WEP of Netgear wireless router WGR614 v7. I need it to hook up PS3


The passcodes are set up when you install the device, you can login to your router by navigating to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 to change or find your password.

Offf ,I need help ,I have netgear reruter ,and I


open router page from of of your computer which can go online

with following steps

1. Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari)
2. Access the router, usually with http://192.168.0.1 or http://www.routerlogin.com.
3. Login to the router (Username = admin Password = Password unless you have changed it)
4.click on wireless settings under SETUP
there you would be able to find your password

Cannot access the internet after installing new NetGear router.


you need to change the IP address of the router. Plug just the router into the computer. Open Internet Explorer and go to 192.168.1.1. user: admin password:password. On the main page it allows you to change the LAN IP. Make it 192.168.2.1. Now unplug everything and rewire it correctly. This should fix the issue. Verizon uses 192.168.1.1 for the modem well so does Netgear and this causes the network to not function. So changing the IP of the router should fix this issue and has worked for me many times that I have done that set up.
