Printer Stopped Working

My HP 7300 printer just stopped working after changing from one location to another. There is no power getting to the machine. After plugginng it in it remains powerless - no panel lights or indication that there is any power tot he machine. I checked the power outlet and that is not the problem. I think it is either the power supply cord, or some sort of fuse. What do you recommend?

While changing out the black cartridge, when reinstalling a new one the power
light went off, and in the computer it shown it was offline. Ck'd plug in on both ends but still can't get the power to come back on, even by pushing the power on button on the printer.

The power supply board slides out of the back with two thumb screws. You can pull it out easily and look for burnt components.
Not so sound redundant but the power switch on the right hand side behind the panel is in the on position correct?
Have had a couple of customers not know its there.

It is rare for that power supply to fail. Actually in 5 years of seeing that product I have not witnessed one bad.

Here is the part number for what you would need

    119649580

You can call 1-800-835-6100 and find out the price.

But I will warn you up front, Sit down when they tell you.

You can probably replace the printer for the price of the electronich module.

My curiosity got the best of me. I checked and that item is $499.

Thought I would save you the heart attack

Make sure it is fully inserted in to the printer, try another outlet also.

Printer switching on?.Might be power supply failed, replace Power supply board.if you are tech guy..Open left, right & back doors. Check input fuse.. if fuse open replace with same rated fuse, give power, check.. if again fuse is open replace power supply board. if its OK wait few minutes & confirm.. fix it back..

I changed my router password and c7200 printer will not work now

If you changed the wirelss password and that has stopped the wireles printer from wrking, all you need to do is to get inside the printer configuration and change the password there as well
If you meant that you changed the router login password and that has stopped the printer from working, then you are mistaken.

It started, then stopped!

Seem to be a power problem. Leave your printer unplugged a while. Connect it again and see if the power comes up. Check the power strip outlet, change it for a different one or connect the printer to another outlet on the wall. If still not working your printer needs to be serviced or replaced

Printer Stopped Printing

If you can get a test page this indicates that there is nothing wrong with your printer there should be a little button on the jetdirect box press that and that will give you the jetdirect settings and IP code. Check this with you computer system as your IP host license may of expired and change the jetdirect to suit.

If the network IP code is still the same the cheapest this is to fit a new jetdirect box if this still doesn't work then I'm affrayed that the machine formatter board has become faulty and would probberly out way the cost to repair it that buy a new machine.

I do hope this has helped you
Thanks J
