I´ve turned my N610c on on battery (meeting). It went to sleep (still on meeting), so I closed it and went to office. When I tried to turn it on again on charger, only thing that happend - charge LED goes off... When I reconnect the charger, the charge LED goes on again, but pushing any switch turns it off again (only the LED). How do I turn it on?
Try this. Remove the main battery. Then plug the adapter into the unit. The unit should power up. If not then there is still a problem. To continue troubleshooting, Remove parts one at time and plug in the adapter until you get it powering up. By removing parts, I mean, remove the HDD, remove memory, remove the modem, disconnect the LCD, remove the keyboard etc. Order is not important.

I find sleep mode nothing but trouble, eventually corrupts window files over extended use, go into power options, go to stand by and select never and click apply, next go to hibernate "top right" and click, make sure the check box is clear, if not! remove check and click apply and restart your laptop.
remove the battery and adapter. press power button for 30 sec. then connect the adapter. press power button. if this didnt work. you need to ask for an help of a local tech to check for the video card and cable.

Disconnect the power cable from the Notebook and then remove the Battery pack. While the Battery pack is removed, press and hold the power button on the Notebook for 15 seconds.
Next, reinsert the Battery pack and connect the power cord to the Notebook and turn it ON. While the Computer is booting, you can view the information on the bottom of the screen to get to the Setup Screen.
On the Setup screen, use the right arrow key to highlight the "Exit" menu, then select the option "load/get default" and press the Enter key followed by F10 keypress to reset the BIOS and save and exit the screen.
1) Unplug the AC Adapter from the notebook PC and remove from any port replicator or docking station.
2) Remove the battery from the notebook battery compartment
3) Press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds
NOTE: Holding down the power button while the computer is turned off drains any residual charge in the capacitors
4) Insert battery and plug the AC Adapter back into the notebook PC.
5) Press the power button to turn the notebook PC back on.
Any beeps when you turn it on? unplug everything and then plug it back
in. Make sure the monitor connections are good and that you have it
turned on. Again make sure it's turned on. Sometimes it's the simple
stuff. Was the monitor working well before it failed? Do you have a
video card? Remove the battery, AC, count to ten and try one last time?
