Question about Compaq Evo N610C Notebook
I´ve turned my N610c on on battery (meeting). It went to sleep (still on meeting), so I closed it and went to office. When I tried to turn it on again on charger, only thing that happend - charge LED goes off... When I reconnect the charger, the charge LED goes on again, but pushing any switch turns it off again (only the LED).
How do I turn it on?
Try this. Remove the main battery. Then plug the adapter into the unit. The unit should power up. If not then there is still a problem. To continue troubleshooting, Remove parts one at time and plug in the adapter until you get it powering up. By removing parts, I mean, remove the HDD, remove memory, remove the modem, disconnect the LCD, remove the keyboard etc. Order is not important.
