Buslink MP3 download problems

Hi, Have a Buslink 256k MP3 player. Could you please send me instructions to send files from itunes to mp3 player?? i have tried copy/paste and files show on mp3 drive window but do not play. I have also used Win Media player Sync but most of my files are in ITunes. Thx MBB

Have you checked the battery voltage? make sure its in the original capacity. Go to Control panel>Performance and maintenance> System> Hardware> Device manager> Universal Serial Bus Controller, click on the + sign to see the list of installed devices. If your player is connected, it should be listed there with a yellow flag (the yellow flag indicates that although the connection is there, it is not working properly). Right click on it>Properties>Troubleshoot. See if the troubleshooter can help. And you can format it there.

Do the following to reset the firmware. Once the firmware is reset, everything should be back to normal.
1. Install the application from the mini disc that came with the MP3 player - which can also be downloaded from
http://www.driveway.com/piidz15711
. Run the "Setup.exe" file.
2. After it's installed. Connect the MP3 player to your computer. Make sure there's no battery attached to the unit. Wait until it's fully connected, and then run the software ( Go to PROGRAMS and look for "SigmaTel MSCN Audio Player". Run the Firmware Download. The software will automatically search for the unit. )
3. Make sure the "Format Data Area" option is checked (Warning: all files are going to be erased). Hit the "Start" button. The firmware will be reset, and the MP3 player should be back to normal.

Music from itunes will not play on the device


The Itune music files maybe in MP4 file format.

I'm a technically frustrated mum who is trying to download songs from itunes to the E30 MP3 player - i can get the songs to the player but it is coming up as - "this file format is not supported' -...


MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. That is why downloading from Itunes do not work, it is the wrong file format.
You can download mp3 music files from the Internet or convert your CDs into mp3 music files onto the computer and then copy them to the IRiver.

My PC no recognizate buslink inUSB and how can i recording music from my PC ,need other sowtware or something else ?


As far as I know you cannot record music from your PC. You can however use recording software (like windows sound recorder) to record wave files (WMA) and upload these to your mp3 player. Most players have onboard converters to convert to mp3 whilst uploading. Or you can download mp3 files form the internet and upload to your player. If your player is not appearing in "My Computer" when connected to the USB port, you have a different set of problems which could require you to fromat the player to FAT32.

Can I download my music from I-tunes onto my MP3 player?


You can download files to iTunes and import them from iTunes into the easyRip music library ONLY if the music from iTunes is DRM-free (.m4a files, I think). Reference the help file in easyRip (the icon with the "?" in the dock) for instructions on how to import the files. Then just use the Player Loader to load the files from the music library to your player (again, just look in the help file for instructions how to do this.)
