Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

Rear Camera Hi, I have a lot of trouble getting the rear camera to operate on my phone. Sometimes (very rarely) it will open but the image will be very jumpy and take a long time to focus. Most of the time it simply refuses to open at all. It is a brand new phone and it is still under warranty but I thought I'd ask before sending it for repairs... The front camera is very responsive and works perfectly. Thanks for any help you may be able to offer me Peta

My rear view mirror camera quit working I checked the fuse it's good the backup lights work.Help

Circuit/System Description
When the transmission is placed into REVERSE, a 12 volt signal is sent to the rearview camera image display module indicating that camera operation is requested. The rearview camera image display module then supplies ignition voltage and ground to the rear vision camera. The rear vision camera sends video information through the rearview camera image display module to the inside rearview mirror through a video signal + and a video signal - circuit. A grounded shielding also wraps the video signal circuits to reduce electronic interference which may degrade the video signal and cause a distorted or otherwise degraded image.

Do you know how to do electrical testing ?

Rear Vision Camera System Does Not Display
Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the rear view camera image display module.
Test for less than 1.0 ohm between the ground circuit terminal 3 and ground.
? If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the ignition circuit terminal 2 and ground.
? If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the ignition circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
Ignition ON, park brake applied, vehicle in REVERSE, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the control circuit terminal 1 and ground.
? If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the control circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
Ignition OFF, connect the harness connector at the rear view camera image display module. Disconnect the harness connector at the rearview camera.

How do I shot a selfie with my camera.

Buy an iPhone. They have forward and rear facing cameras. Otherwise you need a selfie stick and a lot of luck as you have no screen to check framing.

When put in reverse the image is up side down.

How to Reverse the Image on Backup Camera eHow

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT REAR VIEW CAMERAS

After installing a backup camera on your vehicle, you need to reverse the image so that the image on the screen matches that of your rear-view mirror. The orientation must match so that the driver doesn't get confused with two conflicting images. The nature of the camera's technology is that its image will be recorded un-reflected, but the mirror will display a reflected image. Fortunately, the engineers who designed back-up cameras thought of this and created simple controls for you to change the orientation.

Best resolution? Best low-light ability? Best color rendition?

How do you get the battery door open on the sharper image u-video camera?

The battery door is at the bottom of the camera, just below the little box with THE SHARPER IMAGE in it and opens easily ...if you know the trick. (The tripod mount is in the bottom of the door.) using your thumb, press down on the tripod screw hole and push on the door from the front of the camera toward the rear and the door pops open. Reverse the procedure to close.

Hi guys i am having trouble copying images from my computer onto the camera (i want to use the SD card in it for storage of some images). Some photos work and for others i get the message 'the selected...

The operating system of your computer is not going to be recognized by your camera and you are taking the chance of corrupting both the card and the camera. I strongly advise against trying to do this.

I have trouble taking indoor (low light) photos. pictures come out blury and the camera does not snap the picture properly i have a nikon 35 mm n6006 camera

Hi Rebecca--
The hardest thing about low light photography is balancing your available shutter speed to the amount of action you're trying to capture.
Here are a few things to try:
1) Try using a tripod. Steadying your camera during long exposures will greatly improve your image clarity.
2) Buy a faster film. You may need to increase your film's ISO setting. Try 400 to start, then go up from there. Remember, faster film always produces grainy images, and it usually costs a little more to process. If you're stuck with 100 ISO, you can always "push process" the film, where a given ISO is let to sit in its developer longer than usual--This will cost you more too!
3) Invest in a good flash system. Nikon has tons of hotshoe flash systems that rarely compromise the ambient light-mood of a given situation. Look for one that lets you aim the flash in different directions, and try to find one that will meter a light situation on its own.
4) Turn on the lights. If you're ok with losing some of the romance of an image, turn on some more lights to give you some more flexibility when making your exposure choices.
5) Open up your aperture. You may find that a lot less in depth of field will give you a lot more in image clarity and exposure flexibility. Shooting at f2.8 with only a birthday cake lighting your subject will grant you many more valuable shutter stops that shooting the same with f5.6.
Remember, Rebecca, if you're shooting handheld, you must do everything in your power to shoot with the quickest shutter speed available. This will cut down on the blurriness of your indoor images.
--Hope this helps.

My pioneer double din screen says ''Caution, screen image may appear reversed''...how can i solve this problem?

Hi,

As you know, you can use this DVD AV Receiver with a rear view camera. And also it can be installed to switch automatically from the video to rear view image when the gear shift of the car is moved to Reverse position.

But it is important to use a camera which outputs mirror reversed images.
Otherwise the screen image may appear reversed. And this means that you will see the rear view reversed in the monitor. And that may cause accicent and injury.

To solve this problem, first check your rear camera whether it has the capability to output mirror reversed images.

If it is, then check the wire connections of the rear camera using the operation manual or ask a technician.

Also check the settings of camera polarity if it is set properly or not in the system menu when connecting the rear view camera.

You can download the operation manual (pdf file) by clicking here.

I hope this helps.

If you would like to vote for the answer, this will help the others to see the similar problems solved and also will be a satisfaction factor for me to continue helping you.

All the best.

Sd600 digital camera trouble downloading pics to computer

Hmmm... Yea sometimes the pc doesn't see the added gizmo your camera. In which case, I suggest when you connect camera to computer click on "my computer" and you should see your device listed there along with your C drive & so on. Click on the camera icon & viola, you can copy the images from there to your computer. Yea I had the same experience with PS too, well Elements in particular. And there is a setting (somewhere in Elements Browser window) to turn it off. Yea to simply download images - it doesn't require any software at all with XP. I use a card reader & rarely deal with using the camera cable to computer hook up. To use that device you'll remove the card from the camera & stick in the reader & its ALWAYS worked for me. Again you'll have to click on "my computer" to find the images there. Otherwise --- next step would be to try another usb cable.
