Whirlpool adp 2966 f4 problem

My dishwasher has been flashing f4 for a while and not really cleaning my dishes. i found out that f4 meant that there was a blockage, so i pulled out the machine and the outlet pipe was kinked up , so i straightened it and i put the machine on, it sort of worked- it heated up the water ( which i think it hadn't been doing) and it went through most of the cycle before it flashed f4 again. i think everything had been washed not rinsed. now it just flashes f4 all the time.
foolishly, i decided to put a straightened out coathanger down the outlet tube to see if there was a blockage there. unfortunately the coathanger is now stuck . is it possible to take the waste outlet tube out of the machine to get the coathanger out?

i would really appreciate any help you could give me. thank you very much

Thank you for the answer. I am not very good technically , is this an easy job or should i get someone who knows what they are doing? How do you remove the right hand side panel? Do i need a special screwdriver? should i get a new hose as well?

I think on those you can gain acces to the outlet hose through removing the right hand side panel, if you do this I would advise changing your pump that the hose connects to ad this is probably whats causing the f4.

I think you best get someone to look at it, its not an easy job, a local engineer would probably charge around 60-70 gbp to supply and fit a new pump.

Error code F4

The F4 error code on your washer indicates a problem in the electrical circuits of the washer... and not end-user repairable.
This problem requires a technician to test the wiring circuits to diagnose the problem.

Error code f4 on my adp 5966 whirlpool dishwasher

Blocked waste outlet or maybe just a worn pump.
I fixed a new one today showing F4
I found a piece of broken glass stopping the waste pump.
Hope this helps

Whirlpool dishwasher

We had same problem with our ADP 5966. An engineer over the phone said he thought it was related to machine being unable to drain. I checked the drainage pipe connection to u-bend under sink, and sure enough, there was a major blockage. Cleared that and hey presto, problem solved.
