Dust problem in Power switch function

Sir! i have CCD-TRV37 Sony video camera recorder. There is a problem in its ppower switch. When i keep it on off/charging, it starts charging but within seconds it automatically shifts to standby mode. When i place it on recording and starts recording it again goes automatically to standby mode. There is some carbon or dust in switch button, i want to clean it by myself since in my vicinity i dont have any camera expert. Kindly let me know that how i can clean its switch button manually. Please help me out in my this problem. I shall be highly obliged.
