Re: Indesit dishwasher.

It sounds like the anti flood switch is activated, lean the dishwasher back at a 45 degree angle. If water comes out the back you have a leak. Stand it up and try it try dishwasher, if it works this comfirms leak, you will need to find where it is coming from.

Bosch she4am16uc/01 not filling with water, can hear what I think is teh pump starting then it just sits there. Autoclean light just flashes and I cannot reset the dishwahser... any recommendations?

pull the dishwasher out and look inside the pan you more than likley have a leak and this is why it is not filling it has a safety so when it leak it will not fill with any more water.

Shortly after turning my indesit idl530 on a fault code appears

the problem you are getting is a f01 fault, this is water in the base part of the antiflood check this if you tip the appliance backwards and water comes from the back at the bottom this is the problem,if you do this till it stops and then leave for approx 24hrs to dry out any water that may have gone on to motor, then check by switching on to start a program,if appears to work ok but then goes back to the same fault(draining all the time and light flashing)you will have to remove base and check for leaks.

My dishwasher seems to start ok then the first light starts flashing and it do'es nothing just stays there any ideads what my problem is

Can you tell if it's filling with water. The first thing it does is fill with water (usually on a timed cycle) before the pump starts. If there's no water in the tub, it obviously won't wash dishes, since a dishwasher is nothing more than an enclosed pressure washer. If it does not fill with water, you may have a bad fill valve or the timer that turns the fill valve on may be defective. You DO have the water turned on, RIGHT?

Cookworks dishers not working

Had the same problem but pump seemed to be trying to pump out. Took out the dishwasher and tilted it back 45 degrees until the water ran out - bit messy. Put it back on the level and try the start/reset. It worked for me. Seemed like something blocked and draining the water sorted it. Had a similar problem with an indesit a few years back and the same thing worked with that

If it does not fill properly to a certain level, the heater will NOT come on, so you need to solve the filling problem. Is the drain hose raised sufficiently? Is the pressure hose blocked? Does it let water in and then just stop? Oshie

Indesit DV620 Dishwasher

You have a internal leak in the dishwasher...there is a safety float system in the base (below where you put the dishes in!) of the unit, which in the event of water in the base will stop the cycle and activate the drain pump continiously.... You will have to open the unit and find the leak. Don't know these models, but usually you have to remove side panels and front panel, drain water from the base and re-start....then check with flashlight where the leak is. Oshie
