Re: Micro sd on the Z400v
The files usually have to be SYNCED to the phone, not just dropped in the folders, on some phones. Try using BITPIM or ImToo3g, these are programs that i have used, you hook up your phone and it will convert the files for you before loading them to the phone.
Allthough the phone uses MP3's, they have to sink to the phone, the phone probably only uses so many Kbps or only Mono and not stereo, Depends on the phone. You can get BITPIM on there website, its free, just google it, the other program i found on " ThePirateBay" dot com. Hope this helps.

The memory card suggested for Samsung GT-S6700 is of course Micro SD card. So it must accept all those Micro SD cards. If your phone is not reading any of such cards, the card might be locked. Unlock the card by sliding the key present on the side of the card.
Hope this one solved your problem. If you have additional doubts, please come back to us.

hi what you will need to do is either use a USB cable from your pc to your cell phone, the memory stick (micro sd) will show as a removable device then just copy and past the mp3 files that you want to copy, the other way is to buy a sandisc micro card adapter, this looks just like a normal SD card, but at the top of it there is a slot that you put the micro SD card in then put it in a card reader as normal, then transfer the music over to that disc, when done just pull your micro sd card from the adapter and insert it into your cell phone as normal and away you go...hope this helps
hi, lets try to fix your problem without spending a single
cents..removed your micro sd ,(small memory card of your phone) then
scan it in computer,,by doing this you need an all in one card that
supported mini sd,mini sd ,memory stick etc..then you will find if your
micro sd is having a virus..back up your files then reformat your micro
sd ,then after formatting back your files...without your micro sd open
your phone ,if it is ok now ,so the problem is your micro sd...if still
there the problem ,reset your phone by doing this ,type *#7370# and
enter your locked code..wait until the phone reboot itself...goodluck ,i
hope it will help you..

well i would see if you have the updated drivers for the card reader.. if not it might be a older computer that is not savy with the new high tech stuff we have today.... i hope this helps.... let me know
I speant Hours swearing at my phone because it would not read my music
files, Tried the card on many different phones which would take Micro SD
and all other phones read the music Just not the LG KC550.
I found that getting a Micro SD dongle reader, Insterting your 2GB Micro
sd card in that and then putting your music files into the "sounds"
1. Insert Micro SD card into Card reader.
2. Insert card Reader to Computer Via USB.
3. Go to my computer and Open the USB Card reader.
4. Select the Music files from your pc Via Copy files
5. Go to open Tab (Where you can see your Micro Sd card) Open the sounds
folder and Paste.
If you are finding it hard to get the 5 folders of images, Documents,
Sounds, others and Videos on your Micro SD card. Format the card by
going My computer, Right click the Card reader (with you Micro sd card
inserted) and click format. Takes a few seconds. Insert the card into
the phone, the phone will auto put the folders on the card. Then go to
step 1 (above) and start again.
