You will have to check the switch for input power,to see if the switch itself is getting power. If so,then the switch would be bad.The switch works on a reverse polarity pattern. So you can`t replace it very well with a normal off and on switch. So you will have to get a switch like it.If the switch is good, and your sure,is there power to the switch? If not check for a breaker to be bad(in the fuse box).If there is not a breaker, follow the main power wire from the switch until you find the power source. Most likely a relay or two,and a fusible link that is burned up,just replace them as needed.

The wires between the door and frame are probobly broken from opening and closing so much....run into it a lot...cheap fix is to cut the rubber boot off with a razor knife and splice in a piece of wire....tight working in there and make sure you seal them up with heat shrink and lots of electrical tape,,,good luck...Lee

1988 chevy blazer had 3 prong wire harness for gas tank new one has 4 how do i hook it up correctly

Hello. Your Chevy's fuel pump assembly color code wiring should be grey (power) black (ground) purple (fuel level) and orange (low fuel warning). To check, attain a 12 volt test light and probe the wires one by one as an assistant turns the switch on and off without engaging the starter. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

1994 s-10 blazer 4.3 vortec wiring harness

The color codes will be different so when you take the harness off the 95 make sure that you label ALL the connectors to make it easier to install it on your Blazer. You may also have to change some sensors or switches up to 95 so that the harness will fit. Label all the empty connectors with their location in the 95 because they will be for options that may or may not be on your Blazer. If you have to access a wire diagram to complete the job then use the 95. DON'T let someone else take the 95 harness out for you andtake a rough diagram of your truck with the plug-ins marked for location and # of pins for wires. Basically it should fit but attention to detail is a must.
Also check out faxonautoliterature. They list GM service manuals but also GM books for engine interchanges that may prove to be very helpful. Hope this helps.

Do the non working bulb holders have power at the bulb terminals? If not back track to the one that works. The flow of power or earth is bad and its probably happening between working and non working.Do you have a trailer plug?make sure the joins are secure.Maybe two wires touching?Have you put an earth to one of the bulb holders that dont work.Try taking the working bulb out and see if the others light up,Hard to do or suggest test without vehicle there to work on and makes it hard not knowing exactly what tests youve done but suggested a couple in the hope that theres something that helps.Good luck
