Ever since I installed Leopard on my iMac, I am unable to open Adobe Photoshop or any of the photos I worked on in photoshop.

Thanks.
IMac OS, for Mac Photoshop 7.0 will only work up to 9 or 10 on Mac. Leopard will not work. Its not compatible! newer format. This is what i been told in tech support at Adobe not planning on a fix do to photoshop is an older ver.
Aardvarkitis is correct, but I wouldn't expect the manufacturer to repair the problem. More than likely it was planned that way to prevent older software from working for a reason: greater new product sales. The software is old enough that if they do not provide a 'fix' for it, they'll most likely sell more of their current products.
If you cannot afford Adobe Photoshop CS3, you may wish to purchase a new or used copy of Photoshop 9 or 10, so that you won't have to wait for a fix from Adobe that may never appear. Another (partial) solution is to download a free copy of Photoshop CS3 from Adobe, and then save all your photos in a format that you can open with your new operating system without Photoshop (JPEG for example). Keep in mind that if you do, you'll lose quality and perhaps Photoshop editabiltiy (the ability to edit or remove steps which Photoshop saves in .PSD format) but at least when the 30-day trial ends, you'll still have your photos.
Keep an eye on the Adobe website. This is a known issue, unfortunately it seems Adobe currently is not planning to fix the problem. Photoshop CS3 is Leopard compatible. Perhaps upgrading to CS3 is a solution.

mac 10.3.9 i download stuff it says i need photoshop 7 to open what does this mean?
Yes, my photoshop 7 doesn't work since I installed Leapard - I have thousands of photos that I can't work with in my genealogy research. I installed the new Legacy 7.0 in the PC part of my Mac (I'm using VMWare) and it doesn't seem to be able to read or see the photos from Photoshop, even though they are saved as TIFs. I don't know where to start. Macmona
