Yes, you will need to install the drivers for your sound hardware. Go onto the manufacturers website and you will be able to download the drivers relating to your motherboard.

My audio doesnt work cant install audiodriver for windows7

The only drivers ASUS has available for this board are for XP and earlier. If they don't work with Windows 7, you have two options. One is to install a PCI audio card in an open slot. Any new board should work with W7. The other is to use a USB sound adapter so you don't have to open the computer case. Either of these methods will get your sound back.

Asus P5P800-Vm

This problem is either your power supply, the mother board or the processor, try using a different power supply first and see what happens. Take the processor out of the socket and take it to your local pc store and ask if they will test the processor for you, if all are ok then it is *********** board is at fault and will need to be replaced.

Sutaible mother board of a size 9.61 x 9.61 inches. I am having a MB of Intel D865G & i want to replace it with Asus P5KPL, so please suggest me is it match all dimensions of D865? Thanks Rupesh

Hi,

The Asus P5PKL motherboard has the dimensions of 12 X 7.6 inches.

The boards which exactly match your size requirements i.e; 9.6 x 9.6 inches are:
Asus P5P800-VM and Asus P5P800-MX

You can also have a look at Asus P5KPL-CM , P5KPL-VM, P5KPL-AM motherboards which have the dimensions of 9.6 x 8 inches.

Hope this solves your problem Thanks.
