Logitech z5300e speakers

I just bought a set of logitech z5300e speakers. Unfortunatly they came with no paper work. I bought them from a store and the papers weren't with them. Was wondering if anyone has the z5300e logitech speakers. The lights on controller for the volume, sub, fader, center, and matrix are red. Thought when i looked at them at the store they were green. The volume lights are green but others are red or orange. If you know please let me know. Thank you so much for the help.It is greatly appriciated. daveydigs

I own a logitech Z-2300 set, but recently had my left satellite speaker stop working. With few tests, found the speaker is indeed the problem and not any of the subwoofer jacks or input signal. After...

Your speakers' lead wire has a break in it. Lead wire is one that goes to the speker paper cone, from the connection point. It is a brided copper wire, very thin and flexible. If you be carefull, you can repair it. Speaker lead wire can be bought from electronic spare part shops. Just find out the size use in your speaker, buy a short lenth of it, say half a meter or so [even though it needs a few centimeters]. Look on the spekares leadwire fittings; you can compare the fittings of the other leadwire, and replace it. It is a very keen and sensitive work. After replacing the wire, fix it with some sort of rubber based gum. That is all. OK.

Need replacement sub box

Go to nearest computer store, ask them if they can give you the address of Logitech service center in your area.If one store does not help, go to 2 -3 more.
Another option , try searching in google maps for logitech service center in you area, this might sound stupid but works in some cases.

No power in Z-5500 logitech speakers

The logitech z 5500 digital is very sensitive to power peaks. One of the most know problems is that the fuse breaks because of these peaks. I´ll show you how to replace the system´s fuse.

First of all, you just need to write down the specification of the system´s fuse. The system´s fuse specifications are printed in the back side of your subwoofer, right next to the subwoofer´s on/off switch. In an european system it says: "T2AH250V (Time Delayed)". If you use another power voltage (120v), it may say something different. Anyway, write it down on a piece of paper and go to an electricity store and ask for a similar fuse (It is very cheap. Not more than 1$)

-The best way to get a similar fuse would be by bringing the broken fuse with yourself to the store-

In the back of your subwoofer, using an screw-driver, un-screw the fuse´s cover and remove the broken fuse. Replace it with the new fuse, attatch it to the cover and screw it back again.

If you turn on your system now, it will probably work fine.

Using computer speakers with the panasonic sa-he70

I had a similar problem. In order not to mess up the jacks from the speakers I bought some mini jack to stereo rca adapters. I cut off the rca jacks from the end and then is just a matter of figuring out witch ones are left and right channels. For the subwoofer it's best to figure out which one is the sub channel so you don't have to cut off the rca plug from that one.
