Hold down TV button at top of remote until other buttons on top row light up. Press red power (big one) then press channel up repeatedly until tv turns off. Press # button on bottom right to set the new code.
It might only take a few channel ups before you find the right code but it may take a hundred. If you go thru all of the codes in the remote the tv button will start flashing quickly to indicate you have done so.
When you are all finished just remember to press and release the sat button up top to control the Dish receiver once again.
Here are some common brand name tv codes also. If yours is here its easier to enter the code. Hold down the tv button until all others light up then enter the three digit code and press #.

Possible problems include defective volume control or broken wire OR improper wiring.

Volume controls can have a broken resistance element and fail to go to zero volume.

I have a panasonic TC32LX14 tv. My Direct TV remotewill not work with the volume but it works changing channels

You gots ta program the remote to operate the tele.  Theres a separate button that says tele.  Press that button and then see if you can control the tele.  If not, then read your manual to see how to program the tele button for your brand.  Cheers.

Electric guitar pick up doesnt work?

se3veral things have to be ruled out, start with the cord that your using to your amp, is it good? next is the volume on both the guitar and amp also good, the last thing that should be wrong is the pickup itself unless a wire is broken off of it, you can usally check this from somewhere on the back of the guitar, if all the wires are good, check the two volume controls and on the back of the amp check the wires going to the speaker.

I`ve set up my philips digital terrestrial receiver DTR220 and i`ve scanned for all channels, but i can`t pick up any because my aerial is not picking up any signal. I`ve tried different, stronger aerials...

I actually moved my tele to the other side of the room to see if it would work in a different spot and it took me ages to get some signal by moving my aerial around. The signal still wasn`t strong and i didn`t have alot of the channels and then i turned it on a few weeks after and it was working perfectly. Don`t ask me why! :s
