Model NE-9970. After a storm-caused power outage, why does the microwave have no power to the control board?

Usually the microwave is plugged into a ground fault protected outlet. Push the buttons on the receptical and power should come on. The ground fault may be above your counter top and protects the plug your microwave is pluffed into.

You can try hp compaq nc6120 battery as a replacement battery for your HP COMPAQ laptop. Just bought a poulan 14 inch chainsaw...filled it with bar oil and the gas oil mix. Trying to start and won't even turn over. Any suggestions?

If it wont turn over, it may be because the cylinder is full of fuel, remove the spark plug under the top cover, with the plug out does it no crank over, if so give it a good few pulls to clear it out, replace the pluf and try again, using no choke and full throttle, just one point you didnt fill the fuel tank with oil by mistake??

Hi,the problem with my dell inspiron1420 is that suddenly theres no sound..but if pluf in my headphones..it works...pls help..how do i fix this?thx

Hello,
The most common issue when this happens, is not easy to fix. There is a pin in the headphone jack that opens a circuit when you plug the headphones in which turns off the internal speakers. Over time the pin gets worn down and stays in the position even if headphones are not plugged in. This prevents the internal speakers from getting the audio signal.
Some people have had success with poking a pin in the hole and gently prying the pin back a little. I don't recommend you do this though as you may make it worse or short something out. By all means if you want to try that, turn off the laptop first and unplug it from the A/C and take out the battery.
Most cases you will need to send the laptop to DELL for servicing. If the laptop is out of warranty, the repair might not be worth the cost.
This happens a lot and I has happened to one of my Asus Laptops. Very annoying! I feel your pain.
Regards, Chris

I dont have game volume even though i have everything plugged in.

First, try plugging your console into another component input on your TV or into another TV and see if you can hear sound. If the sound works then the input that you had your console plugged into is broken.

If that doesn't work, try using different cables, like a new component cable or R/F. If that works, then your cables are broken.

If none of that works, try playing a different game and see if it makes a difference. More than likely though, this will mean that there is a serious problem with your console's hardware, and only a professional can fix it.

Need to find out how to add oil or check the oil in the rear end of a 2000 GMC gimmy

Hello, there is a fill pluf on the passenger side of rear end to check the fluid level and to add fluid. here is some help on this.

  • Remove the rear axle fill plug.
  • Inspect the lubricant level. Specification
The lubricant level should be between 0-10 mm (0-0.4 in) below the fill plug opening.
  • If the level is low, add lubricant until the level is even with the bottom edge of the fill plug opening

On pluging on the main AC pluf, there is not

do you have the cord plugged into the computer? is there a switch on the back near the power supply? if so, is it on? is the large connector from the power supply tightly latched to the mother board? (unplug the computer before you check this!) any fans running? plug a lamp into the outlet and see if it has power! could be a popped breaker, or blown fuse.if you feel confident of your skill, remove the power supply, open it up and see if it has a fuse that may be blown. if so, replace it with a fuse of the same type (size & amperage). if the fuse was blown, and you re-install the power supply and it blows again, then you have a problem (probably) with the power supply, and if cost effective, it needs replacing! get a compatible power supply with a higher power rating, if you can! more power for your peripherals!
    good luck!
