LG Headset can pair with PC and I can hear but the mic is not working

I have this sale problem. I am using a rocketfish micro dongle to connect my LG tone to my PC and I can hear fine. However, when I set the bluetooth mic to default, I only hear these random blips and pings and it shows nothing received in the audio bar.

My speaker stopped working after some time!

may be problem in lose wire connection ,
check that first.
may be there is a problem in mic from where u talk,
open the mic cover smoothly, check all the wires are joint if not join it properlt,
still problem take off ur mic and check with speaker or with other equpiment like ur mobile headset,if mic is ok then put back, if not do *
join wires again properly,next
open joiner where the speaker and mic are joined, may be there are some wire disconnection join it ,if properly joined,
* then there is a problem in mic
replace the mic with same type of mie or u can use the mic of ur mobile head set or find it someware ,
join it ploperly.
it works.

Motorola s9 mic does not work

try removing the S9 bluetooth device from phone, then re-adding and pairing again. this worked for me (I have an LG Voyager that I use with the Motorola S9). Mic stopped working after 2 weeks and removing the BT device and repairing did the trick.

Purple light will not stay lit

I signed up JUST because this solution worked:

"Hmm this may sound like a stupid solution that doesnt work but what i did is...,

#1 I Held the button to make the violet light go on
#2 when the violet light is on dont just flip the boom mic, flip* the earpiece with it.

*note: when fliping the mic and earpiece, dont open slowly, flip it open fast and keep it there." I do want to note that my passcode was reset to nothing during my 3 months of troubleshooting.

Not going to mess with it.

First, turn on your bluetooth on your phone.
Flip the boom mic on your H700 and hold down the call button for 5 seconds.
The indicator light should be purple. That means it is in pairing mode.
Then using your phone, attempt to connect to your H700.
It'll ask for a passkey. The default passkey is 0000.

My headset wil not turn purple after holding it for 5 seconds

You need to hold down the call button before opening the mic. Once it turns purple immediatly open the mic. If you wait too long to open the mic after it turns purple it will turn blue or just go out.
