Question about IBM ThinkPad T22 2647 Notebook
I currently have a atholon 64 3500 processor. Can anyone tell me what is the hihest processor I can upgrade to. Can I upgrade to a dual core. Motherboard supports 939. Your detailed advise is greatly appreciated
Most of the newer processors use a different socket.
The Socket 939 chips go up to an Athlon 64 X2 4400+.
However: keep in mind that your computer's bios may not be setup to use newer CPU's. The only way to tell is to check compaq's web site for updates or just to buy a CPU and try it.
