Corrupted XP Professional

I have an Acer/Aspire 5670 with 2 OS, Vista and XP Professional.
But XP Professional must be corrupted because it always give me a blue screen while booting.
.
Is it possible to repair XP while in Vista?

    Actually, I have bought another operating system (XP Professionale) and installed it under a dual boot option.

    The computer asks me every time to choose an OS.

    And I was asking if it is possible to fix XP files after booting in Vista.

No it is not possible to repair xp the way you indicate.

Acers come with one or the other option of operating system and you would choose (if you were offered the downgrade option)

Once that choice is made you are locked into it unless you buy another operating system to install under a dual boot option.

Sorry it is not what you wanted to hear but that is how it is I am afraid.

    You may want to try and boot into safe mode for xp and see if you can get into XP that way.



    If not you may have to try a "repair install" of XP



    Should that not work you might just have to do a full install of xp again

Acer Aspire AS 3410, OS - WIN XP, shut down not work.
that means the drivers which you had installed is not working properly. u need to download the drivers of audio video & NIC card . check out the site. support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.htm. make sure you have SP3 for XP.

What can I do other then the reboot CDs for a corrupt system file
Its means " setupdd.sys" is not present on your system. May be corrupted by virus or by mistake its deleted. Batter you repair your OS.

Reinstalled Windows xp professional to my acer aspire 3610
1.change another Installation CD of Windows XP service pack 2 or install Windows Vista.
2. if any track of your CD is corrupted, then this type of error comes.
3. sometime if your hard is not formated correctly, then also some fatal error comes.
4. when formating always do full format, donot do quick format.

Software incompatibility on my acer aspire6930-6455
Well, we wont know until you try. In my opinion, your 32/64 bit issues will be solved, but you would still have the normal vista/xp compatibility issues.

But that is to be expected, like when we all upgraded from win98 to XP.

So - I would recommend downgrading to Vista 32 bit, or getting the 64bit software version of the programs you want to use.
