How to enter the BIOS or CMOS setup.
Reasoning: IBM compatible users may need to enter the BIOS or CMOS setup to setup or change how their computer's hardware is currently configured.
Solution: Because of the wide variety of computer manufacturers and BIOS manufacturers over the evolution of computers, there have been numerous different ways to enter the BIOS or CMOS Setup. Below is a listing of the majority of these methods as well as other recommendations for entering the BIOS setup.
Notice: If you are unable to get into the BIOS or CMOS setup because of a password please see document CH000235.
New computers Thankfully, computers that have been manufactured in the last few years will allow you to enter the CMOS by pressing one of the below five keys during the boot.

A user will know when to press this key when they see a message similar to the below example as the computer is booting. Some older computers may also display a flashing block to indicate when to press the F1 or F2 keys.
Press <F2> to enter BIOS setup
Tip: If your computer is a new computer and you are unsure of what key to press when the computer is booting, try pressing and holding any key on the keyboard. This will cause a stuck key error, which may allow you to enter the BIOS setup.

If the above steps didnt work can do this:

start
control panel
user account
Click on : Computer Administrator

Good Luck hope this gets ya back on line

Ok so here's the deal. I called Toshiba about a BIOS password fix
and they said just to ask a question no matter if fixed or not it costs $35
not including that they want $420 dollars to get it fixed which you have to send in
and wait. I know that Toshiba A100 series have a glitch in them that causes the BIOS password
to change because I just recently just had that problem but luckly I kno how to fix it.
I have a very quick and easy quide you can buy for $30 100% guaranteed to work, and once you made the purchase
I will even give you my own personal phone number you can call me on if you do happen to run into any problems.
You can spend this $30 on this guide that will fix it for around $450 to get removed lose information and wait for
it to get fixed. Also in the guide I will include pictures on how to do it just in case. This guide is only for Toshiba A100 Series
so don't send money if you don't have this type of laptop I won't be able to help you. Please send payment to Johnpiles@hotmail.com Paypal only please
and once received I will send guide asap.

Just take out your BIOS battery, and wait for 5 min, then put it back!

Or you can try to flash BIOS, if you know how to do this!
