Question about ViewSonic VP181 18.1" LCD Monitor

Open Question

Bar on right side

I recently traded for a Viewsonic vp181 and the last owner was using portrait software to change the orientation of the screen and now it has a bar on the right side of the screen. I have tried tom re-size the screen size, but that just makes the right edge of the desktop slide "under" the bar on the right hand side.

How can I fix this?

Kids... my students found this trick.
RIGHT CLICK on the desktop. Look in Graphic Controls.. there are some that allow turning of the screen. There are keyboard commands that allow this too. Return to correct orientation and remove the checkmark to allow that.
