Problem for Web Cameras

Generic problem for all Web Cameras

Microsoft Lifecam vx-1000\r\nWindows XP....

Microsoft Lifecam vx-1000 Windows XP. Black screen tried all options. In the lifecam program, when i go to the Audio and Video settings it works, but thats all. Not in the program its self or with messenger or live messenger or any program.
Works fine on other computer with Vista.
HELP !!!

Did you adjust the ring on the outside to get it to focus? also is the light on? if not try clciking the botton on top and see if that brings it up.
