The Volume goes nice and loud but the sound is tinny.

At bottom right of our screen you will see an icon for the volume (shape of a speaker). Double click on the icon to access the full volume control dialog box. Try in creasing the volume from here and set it to a reasonable level. Once set, you can use the volume control on your monitor.

My monitor had sound and someone playing a game turned it off...I assume as know it it not working. It worked with my other computer and I got a new tower is there a way of getting my sound back,

In the lower r/corner there should e an speaker icon you can mute/unmute and raise/lower volume.
If not, go to Start menu to Programs to Accessories to Entertainment to Volume control, you can adjust yu settings!

I can't get the Microphone on my VK192S-B to work on Skype. Please advise. Thanks

If you microphone works in the test modefound under the control panel and then audion tab. If it is just the skype. Uninstall it and reinstall or call skype to see where the conflick may be. if you system works fine but just not with skype then it is a conflick with skype not your computer...

Need more volume on computer speakers

Buy yourself some stand alone speakers, a base & two side speakers, they cheap these days, base speaker has buit in amplifier & plugs into mains, or get surround sound 5speakers & a base, again mains powered, loud enough to annoy neighbours on full. Built in monitor speakers are renowned feeble tinny sounds. Right click speaker icon, bottom right, on your desktop toolbar, open volume control, ensure volume sliders set to max.

This monitor has no volume. The volume is controlled by the computer connected to the monitor, and not controlling the monitor itself.

To regulate volume on computer, click on the small audio icon near to the clock, or locate the audio settings icon in control panel.

My PC has no volume, I've tried everything I can but still no volume. Now wondering if it might be the monitor (x193W) but can't find where to adjust volume on monitor - Can you advsie please?

The full specs on the product note that there is no audio output. I just purchased the same model and am returning it because while it has power, VGA and DVI connections it does not have audio connections, which means no audio output on this unit.

Proview TFT has got volume option mute , need to unmute it & dont know :(

navigate with the monitor buttons to the OSD (on screen display). menu button brings up the OSD. then use volume buttons to move around. there should be a mute option or indications by symbols how to unmute the sound option. if there is not, i would guess pressing two buttons at the same time might do it.
