Unmute

If it is in an Apple product, I would not know. But for Windows based or Linux based computers, locate the icon of the loudspeaker on the task bar (at the bottom right in Windows, or the Top right in Linux). Click on the loudspeaker icon, and adjust the volume or remove the X on the speaker.

How do i unmute my nextbook tablet

You mute/unmute with the volume controller on the right upper side of the tablet. If it's muted, run the volume all the way down to zero, at which point the slash mark through the volume icon will disappear. Then you can set your volume level.

How how do i increase the volume in the you tube?

On the you tube video widget there is a speaker icon. If you mouse over this icon it will give you a volume slider. Clicking the icon will mute/unmute the volume. If this still doesn't work then your system volume may need to be unmuted or turned up. This can typically be found in the bottom right hand side of your screen in the system tray. It too will be a speaker icon.
If no speaker icon is present then you do not have a sound device installed.

Speaker icon is red. I can mute and unmute, but remains red and I have no audio

If the red icon is the speaker icon at the right bottom of the screen then follow this:
  1. Go and click on the icon at the bottom right of the screen (the speaker icon)
  2. Use the dial to change the volume and this should unmute your speakers
Hope that helps. If not then please specify your problem a bit.afzalnabil_0.jpg

Pressed volume mute above keypad, but can't turn volume back on

Hi there, there should also be a volume icon on your taskbar. Look for it on the lower right corner of your screen. Click it once and you should be able to adjust the volume and/or unmute it. Hope this helps!

Cannot "unmute' -volume control

First, check the connections and make sure you have everything plugged in correctly. Restart the PC...try clicking on the icon again...if that doesn't work, post back and we'll try to figure it out.
