Had this problem when reassembling my sons DS, it was the wide ribbon cable between the top and bottom screens not pushed into the connector properly, I reconnected it carefully and it powers up just fine now. Hope this helps

When turns on ds both screen blinks once n turns off

You have a corrupted flash software. Sad to say this but you cant really fix your DS yourself. You need to bring it to a local repair guy and have it fixed.

I hope this helps. Thanks and have a nice day.

My nintendo lite wont turn on-the green lite is on but thats all-

Which LCD is blinking?

If your top screen is blinking before cutting off, your DS lite has a problem with the bottom screen.

If the bottom screen blinks before cutting off, your DS lite has a problem with the top screen.

Can you confirm?

Nintendo ds lite will not turn on, when trying to charge the orange lite blinks once.

after researching this for a while, i heard that it is because the fuses have blown inside the ds. you can try to fix it but it is risky.
good luck!
