Singer electronic control sewing machine model number 4562

The Singer 4562 does not need oiling by the user.

You should be able to find presser feet for your machine as long as you know what type of shank your machine takes. Just confirm that whatever you choose will fit a Singer model 4562. You can even purchase a snap-on shank adapter and then purchase snap-on feet for your machine.

I just checked Sewing Parts Online, and they have the lifter for your model in stock for $8.98. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have the service manual in stock, but if you call them, they are very nice about ordering it for you at a reasonable price--they're very fair, and no, I don't work for them.

It's also helpful to get a parts list. I checked the singer site by typing "parts list" in the search box, and in the 4000 series although they don't have a 4562, they DO have a 4572, and it's probably close enough to show you the assembly and how it's put together.

The direct link for the manual for the 9430 is http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/435_5_8_10_16_22_dial.pdf . You can also purchase a printed copy for $15. The manual is the same for the 4562 and the 9430 and several other machines.

When you order the manual on the Singer site, only enter the number 4830 (leave off the "C") and it should work fine.
