Aiptek - Video and sound is out of sync

Aiptek hd- when I transfer the movies to my PC the sound and video are completely out of time. I already tried upgradeing the windows media player, and reloading the camera drivers. I have not had any trouble just viewing video on the camera.

I have same problem others have had with video & audio totally out of sync. Nothing seems to work, I thought the DXG miniature camcorsers were worthless, but this camera is way worse. All you can do is play back the video on the camera itself. The best solution for me is to insist that Best Buy exchanges it for something useful.

If changing the codec used or converting the file to MP4 solves the problem, how do you do that? That doesn't seem possible. The camera is unusable. My Samsung digital camera that I bought for $100.00 blows this product away when it comes to video quality & computer compatability.

In order to play hi def movies without upgrading anything on your PC, download Quicktime for windows, It supports hi-def video, and the PRO version ($20) lets you change the format without quality loss.

I have the A-HD. I found that the problem is the codec used.

I rename my .MOV files to .MP4 and everything seems to work fine after that for me. Try it and let me know if it helps you as well. ^_^

Are you recording in High Def? When I tried that on mine the same thing happened. That definitely has to be played back on Hi Def TV and the computer probably isn't capable of handling that. Switch to DVD mode, or Web cam mode and you won't have a problem.

I cannot down load films nor to shows onto my ipad

3 steps to download movies
1. Go to the iTunes application on your iPad.
Click on the little purple application with the musical note on it. The iTunes application should already be installed on your iPad. All you need for this method to work besides the application is a stable Internet connection.
2. Go to the iTunes store. Just select this option at the top of iTunes. This will allow you to find a movie to download onto your iPad.
3. Click "Movies." You can find this option on the top middle of the screen.

hope it work

You can add video content to your Apple iPod and watch movies on its screen.
Video syncing is controlled by the iTunes application, which then sends the movie files to the iPod's hard drive.
The iPod supports a variety of video formats, and iTunes can convert other files that are not supported.

Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of your iPod.
Connect the other end of the iPod USB cable into a free port on your Mac or PC computer.

Open the iTunes application by clicking on the Dock icon on a Mac or using the Start menu on a PC.
Go to the "File" menu and select "Add to Library."
Navigate to the movie file you want to transfer to your iPod and click "Open."

Click on the movie you just added to iTunes, go to the "Advanced" menu and select "Create iPod or iPhone Version."
This will convert the movie file to a format that the iPod can play.

Click on the name of your iPod under the "Devices" list on the left side of the iTunes window.
Go to the "Movies" tab and choose to sync all movie files with your iPod.
Click on the "Sync" button at the bottom of the iTunes window.
The syncing process will begin and the movie file will be transferred to your iPod.

Transfer DVD Movies to an iPod
Transferring DVD movies onto your iPod for personal on-the-go viewing depends on the exact type of DVD you are using.
Some DVDs are in a format that can easily be transferred to iTunes, which can then convert the movies to a format for the iPod if needed.
If the DVD can't immediately be played in iTunes, you will need extra software to convert it before you can transfer the movies to iTunes and then to the iPod.

Load the DVD into the computer's disc drive and open up both the DVD in a window and your iTunes application.
Drag the DVD's main movie file into the main iTunes window to add it to your personal iTunes library.

Connect the iPod to the computer with its USB cable if it isn't already connected.
If it is already connected, or if the iPod does not automatically sync with iTunes, drag the DVD movie file from the library list to the iPod shown in the iTunes source list.

Convert the movie file to an iPod friendly format if you get a message saying the file can't be played on the iPod by selecting "Convert Selection for iPod" in the Advanced menu.
Please note that this conversion can take some time--five to 10 minutes for every two minutes of video.

Conversion Software

Download and install a DVD conversion program to your computer; look for one specifically designed for converting DVD to iPod if possible.

Open the conversion program on your computer and upload the DVD movie file into the program with the "Open" or "Upload" option.
There should be multiple files on the DVD; the actual movie has the longest run time.

Select the format that the file will be converted to from the program's drop-down list of available formats if the program is not automatically set for an iPod format. If an option specifically labeled "iPod" isn't available, choose an MP4 format.

Choose a location on your computer to save the converted file to using the program's "output" option--the desktop is the most common and easiest location.

Click on the conversion button, which is usually the biggest button located in the lower right corner, to convert the file and save it to your computer.

Open up the iTunes application and drag the converted iTunes or MP4 file into the iTunes library.

Connect the iPod to the computer using its USB cable.

Itunes wont let me put a movie on m ipod

Not all iTunes video can be transferred to iPod, please make sure your video is compatible with iPod. If the video resolution or video bitrate beyond iPod limitation, even though they are mp4 video, you can't upload them to iPod. For example, some iTunes purchased movie are High definition movie, the resolution is too high to play on iPod, you can't sync it to your iPod. For more information about iPod compatible video, you can visit apple official website.

Or you may take a look at this step by step direction, it's about how to convert and put video to iPod, it works pretty well for me.

You cannot transfer or copy images recorded on one device to another - even if they are the same file type, the formats are incompatible.

I cannot get any of my movies/videos to transfer onto my computer.

Hi,  You need to connect the cam and PC using a cable (it should have come with the cam).  Switch on the cam.  Open Windows Movie Maker and import the video from device.
If the movie maker doesnt detect, try installing the driver first.

I cannot transfer mp4 movies to my Ipod Touch

Well, there are several problems that could be happening:
1. You can make sure you converted it right by converting it through software such as Handbrake (Google it)
2. Make sure that your computer that you are trying to get the video from is the computer that you normally sync with. You cannot get video or music from any other computer except for the one you sync with.
3. Either turn off "automatically sync my iPod with this computer" or import the movie into iTunes first and then transfer it

Sound doesn't transfer from camera into computer

It most likely IS the .mov file. I recommend buying quicktime pro, $20,  which will allow you to convert the file, or if you get the free version of quicktime, and the video and audio play fine with it, You can use a screen recorder and turn off the "record external Mic" mode, and turn ON "Record Computer Audio" Once you're done converting (or recording) You can go ahead and edit, Hoped this helped- sincerely: animation508 (youtub username)
