You have a clog in your drain system and when you have a large volume of water it will back up into your tub and possibly your toilet. the only fix would be clearing out your clog.

While using washing machine water leaks out

sounds like the lower pipe or pump pipe is leaking or come away. you need to pull the washer out and place it on its side (left as you look at front) and check the pipes on the bottom, they have pincer clamps on the pipes, if the pipes are cracked or damaged replace them but usually its just they have come loose from drum movement. and just need fitting back on. also the drain pipe needs to be at least 3 inches from the top level with the water in pipes height of the washer so the water does not just come out.

Duets washer won't drain

Probably a blocked filter, outlet pipe or pump.
Take the drain hose and lay it flat and lower then the level of the drum and this will drain the machine providing the blockage is not solid. When machine is empty check filter , pipes and pump and remove any blockage found.
Replace drain hose and you should then be able to carry on with your wash or spin the clothes.

Clothes still wet after washed

There could still be water in between the drums. Have a look at the filter, pump and all outlet pipes for a blockage. the excees water that you have when you have clothes in will be what's left in the clothes, wih the machine empty you may just be seeing what shows above the inner drum.

My washer doesn't drain the water... when i take the clothes out they are soaking wet and the washer has water in the bottom. it worked two days ago...

I had this problem & found it to be a blocked outlet pipe ( the flexable pipe where the water emptys into the drain) .Unscrew the clip that attaches it to the pump & clear it out.

FTF530FS Front Load washing machine. Clothes smell.

all front load washers have the problem. Mold and a build up or dirt and soap and fabric softner cause s old musty smell. The low water use makes the machine dirty and build up inside. Run a few Hot water washes with out clothing, Run it empty ,(run your hot water neer your washer to get the cold water out of the house pipes) hot water and pour bleach in side, 2 or more cups. Keep doing it. When your not using washer leave the door open so air can get inside. Hot wash,es with bleach will keep it clean, also dont use fab softner.

Draining issues

Most modern washmachines have a Drain solenoid that opens a valve so the pump can empty the machine, but that is not alwats the case - especially on front-loaders.

In any case, you'll need an 'Up and over'. This is a U-shaped gizmo that shapes the 8-10' drain hose into a U, and hangs on a nail in the wall even with the top of your machine.

This allows the end of the drain to lie on the floor at the drain end without SIPHONING all the water out. Weigh down the end of it down or it will 'dance' when the machine empties and blast water all over ;-).

To contain this, remove the screen on the floor drain and poke the hose in, pump into a bathtub or shower so the water has a place to go, or Get a large plastic storage bin with snap on lid to catch the water and let it out slowly. Make a small hole in the bottom corner and a hole to fit the hose on the other end, poke it in and duct tape both sides so it cannot move. When the machine drains and water blasts in it will fill the container really quick, and then slowly leak out the corner hole into your floor drain. Make the corner ole larger to drain faster. We don't want it to fill again, and again before it can empty ;-)

Nice and tidy (and cheap if you get the tape and bin at Dollar Tree ($1.00 ea.)

Whirlpool washer AWM 5145/5 water wont drain/stops on B

I had same problem twice, the first time there was a sock in the filter at the front adjoining the pump, the second time a sock had got in the pipe under the drum which is more awkward to get to but is possible if you have the tools to remove the back plate and are ok at diy, there is a spring tension clip on the pipe which comes off quite easily with a pair of pliers.
