I put the sandisk micro sd card in my motorola and try to move pictures to it, my phone says it's unreadable and to format it but when i do it says it failed. so i format the card on my computer then put it back in the phone and it does the same thing!!!

Your computer uses a different protocal to
format and your phone does not recognize it.
check your phone manual and see if you can
format it in the phone

try formatting ur card with the following steps:
right click om my comp then click on manage then disk menagement and right click on ur card then format it will forcely format ur card. gud luck....
yes there is a possible solution to your problem....there seems to be a problem with your card....and it doesn`t look like you can get your data back from it ...so you will have to format your memory card....connect your card to a computer through a memory card reader by also using your micro card`s adaptor and then format it from your computer......hope this helps.....please vote ...help us to help you better
The memory might be able to be saved. but if you have attempted to format it most likely the data is gone because that is what formating does. Now you can get an 8GB Micro SD for about 15$ so I would buy a couple and always back up important data daily.

Try Formating the 1gig chip in 'Fat' not Fat32, then put it back in phone,, should work then.
Also the phone aparently will only recocnize up to 2Gig (But U need a Firmware upgrade)

You need to reformat your music files to the Motorola format - Your phone has specific requirements for file size and format that currently the music on your SD card doesn't match.
Your phone should have come with the software allowing you to convert your music into the required format.

Please check the format of the card it has been formatted with. Try formatting it on the computer and then use it to upload and download pictures on the computer as well as your phone.
