High pitch operating noise? gets louder when you use keypad

Hi i know all K1's have some normal operating noise (hold it to your ear when you are not playing any sound) but my daughters gets louder as she uses the keypad.. At night it is annoying even me.. although my daughter who is younger and holding the phone says it gets as bad as those silent ringtones that kids can only hear. Is it a common problem? We have tried taking the battery out for 5 minutes.

Thanks but she only had the volume at less than half. I took it back to the shop for exchange. Whatever it was kept draining the battery. It needed charging daily.

Try ringing the phone and answering the call
then lower the earpiece volume with the side adjustment key maybe your are getting feedback because the volume is too loud.
I couldn't say it was a common prob. I used one of those phones for nearly a year and never had any trouble with it

I just got a 540ez. It makes a high pitch noise while cycling up. Is this normal for this flash? ideas to make it quiter?

It is normal for flashes to make this kind of noise, and the more powerful the flash, the louder it is likely to be. I know no way to make it quieter.

I have a samsung neo 32 inch picture tube tv. When I turn it on there is no picture or sound, but there is a light high pitched noise.

That high pitched sound is likely the Horizontal Output section trying to work. It operates at 15,750 Hz or at the upper end of normal human ears.
It will sound like a high pitched whine.

This is a section or your television that you don't want to fool with unless you are quite familiar with servicing your set. There are very high voltages involved and only a qualified technician should tend to this defect. It maybe easy to fix or it may be quite involved. Get an estimate first then decide to go further or not. There is a potential fire hazard here so don't operate your set until this is resolved.

HIgh pitched sound when accelerating w/ My 2007 Hyundai santa fe

This may sound strange but have someone check out your radio system. Sometimes an antenna wire or wires, when jared loose will make that ear piercing noise. It may not be the problem but it's worth looking into.

My amana washer makes a whril noise when it spines.

UNFORTUNATLY IT IS PROBABLE A SPIN BEARING THAT IS MAKING THE NOISE. THIS IS USUALLY CAUSED BY A LITTLE WATER LEAKING FROM THE CENTER SEAL ONTO IT. IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE TO FIXED AND VERY TIME CONSUMING, PLUS YOU WILL NEED SPECIAL TOOLS DESIGNED FOR THE JOB

Bose QC3 makes a high pitch noise when i press it against my ear

The design of these headphones includes a microphone on the outside and on the inside of each earcup. The outside microphone detects outside noise. The inside microphone monitors what you are hearing and when it detects that the outside noise is present inside, the active noise-canceling circuits remove that noise. This happens fast enough that you perceive a siginficant reduction in the outside noise getting to your ears.

The airspace inside the earcup is a tuned chamber defined by the foam in the ear cushion. This is important because with the inside microphone in close proximity, but at a 90-degree angle to the speaker, the circuit must be designed to eliminate the normal feedback that occurs. When you press the earcup close to your ear, you are changing the size and shape of the air chamber inside of the earcup thus directing more of the speaker sound toward the microphone than the design can compensate for causing audio feedback to occur. You are hearing that feedback. Removing your hand from the earcup should restore the shape of the air chamber allowing the circuits to return to normal operation.

If the feedback occurs too easily when you are NOT pressing on the earcup, then the foam may have weakened/deteriorated and it may be time to replace the ear cushion.

On my QC-3 headphones, I can cause the feedback squeal in both earcups, with the left earcup being more sensitive to the shape change than the right.
