There can be many problems with your Action Replay DS. Try taking the Action Replay out of your Nintendo DS Lite Console, and look at the part those goes into the DS. Make sure nothing is bent, or missing. If something is, it might mean you may have to have it repaired, or replaced. Also keep in mind that sometimes Action Replays can be sensetive, so don't move it around while playing, or it may cause your DS to freeze up.
If you just bought this Action Replay recently, it should have been supplied with a CD to insert into your computer. You should install Action Replay onto your computer. When you have been brought to the main Action Replay Code Manager, find your USB and Action Replay plug in. Plug the small end into the top of the Action Replay cartridge, and the USB into the computer. Now a New Hardware wizard should have popped up on your computer.
When prompt, select, "Install from specific location.", then click next. Then select Search from CD-ROM. Sometimes it may sound different, just select the one that says something about searching from a CD-ROM. After this has completed, reset your Action Replay.
If the problem persists, feel free to contact me, for questions, or replies.
Nate,
I can help!~ Your problem, probably, is that you were doing something with your Action Replay and then your DS turned off or died. Here is what you do:
(P.S. Your Action Replay and DS CANNOT be plugged into your computer when you do this.)
1) Make sure you DS is off then press and hold A and B.
2) Turn on you DS
while still holding A and B.
3) As soon as the Nintendo screen is
displayed, but before "This product is not endorsed by
Nintendo" message is displayed, press and hold Start and Select while keeping hold of A and B.
4) Continue to hold these buttons until the Main Action Replay screen
is displayed, then release. You have reset your Action Replay and will, once again, be able to put cheats on your Action Replay.
if its one of the micro sd card action replay you can try to format it.make sure you get all of the data off for this take it back to the first time you got it from the store.
I'm not sure if you're asking for cheat codes for use with Ridge Racer DS for the Nintendo DS, or Ridge Racer V for the Playstation 2 - Unfortunately, neither game has actual cheats built into them. You can, however, use a hex editor tool (also referred to as a Trainer, Gameshark, or Action Replay), which would allow you to cheat.
