Problems with my xbox wirelles controller. no connection

If your batteries are good and the you see the green lights circling on the controller that means it is trying to synchronize with the system. Press the little button just to the right or just below the second memory card port on the Xbox to make the machine synch with the controller.

What you can do here first is to save all the data of your memory card to your computer and then after that format the memory card using the format option on your PSP....

My wireless controller will not connect/activate, nor will the Rock Band wireless instruments. The light on each component will flash but the controller will not connect and control the xbox.

Your controllers are not synced to your xbox 360 yet every wireless controller can be played on any system it just has to be synced but once you sync it to another system the system b4 is no longer synced so all you have to do is press the xbox home button on your controller and instruments then press the small circular button on the right of memory unit b if you have any problems on trying to do this msg my profile i hope this helps you.

Xbox rockband 360 wireless guitar

there is a small button between the 2nd memory card slot and controller inputs(where u plug in controller). Press and hold that button. If that doesn't work there is eitgher a problem with guitar or a connection interference with it.

Controller/Memory Card

my recommendation is to return the unit, but there is a popular way that does in fact work. I tried it and my xbox lasted 4 week longer. Basically, wrap it in 2 towels, turn it on and leave it for 30 mins, come back , unwrap and reboot xbox.

On the controller, are you using an off brand rechargeable battery? I work at a game store and we have noticed that some Nyko batteries get returned because when they are fully charged, and the controller is turned on, they system will not recognize the controller. And so far the only thing we have figured out is to go for a Microsoft brand. Hope that helps a little.

Unusual situation - won't recognize rear USB, wireless controllers, or memory card

I had the same problem started yesterday. I stumbled accross this thread. This situation is not an issue with the controllers it is with the console. The solution that worked for me is turning the xbox on. Leaning it forward unplugging the power cable from the back while the console was running and then plugging back in and booting up. Everything working fine now. My bosses console had this similar issue too; we fixed it a similar way by doing the power loss reset, and then a couple days later it red ringed on him.
