Fuse replaced but blows again when remote clicked on

On televsion Panasonic model CT-32SL14 replaced blown fuse which blew when remote turned off and back on immediately. Red power light came on but fuse blew again when remote turned on.

This is a problem with the main poiwer supply. It could be simply a shorted rectifier diode or more complex. Without taking measurements inside the set or at least seeing what the condition is of the board, there is little we can do to help. This unit shoul dbe brought to a service shop with a request for a detailed estimate. Armed with that info, we should be able to guide you through the actual repair. Expect to pay $50 or more for the estimate.

My Panasonic tc p55st wont power up.

Bad power supply circuit board. (very common).

Ps... Many have a fuse on the board, but then you need to know why it is blowing. If you use a bigger fuse you _will_ blow the board or something else.

With that said, you _could_ try replacing the fuse and/or even try a ''slow-blow'' fuse, just as long as it is _exactly_ the same amperage fuse.

Won't turn on

Once you take the back off there is a glass gma fuse withing a few inches of where the power cord plugs into the board at. This should be a 6.3 or 6.5 gma fuse. Very common to blow in your model because the degausing coil is a little to big for it. There are other reasons for it to blow but 99% of the time you change change it and the set will work again. std by light is on?means red light is on.If not than check fuse,vdr,and regulator ic in power unit.if fuse is open than change these component because fuse will blow if the regulator ic is faulty.
