My camera memory card shows its full but when i using it on pc it shows empty. what to do? i need this pictures n videos... help me...

The card has corrupted. You'll likely need to use recovery software (see this article). After recovery, youmay need to format the card in your camera to correct the corruption.

Hi there Aug 2010 I purchased a D90 - recently the transfer program has stopped working as it does not recognise any photos for transfer even though I can see them and transfer using other windows...

I've been studying the problem for several minutes and actually downloaded the manual from the Nikon site to confirm a suspicion. With the camera software denying the transfer yet other "Windows" application are makes me believe that there is or are corrupt files on the memory card.
The Nikon D90 is a "Semi-Pro" type camera and feature packed, however if you have been deleting files and not formatting then the memory card has become saturated with empty files (deleted) what needs to be done each time you down load is format the memory card. Formatting cleans off all the old empty files, restores the memory card to a fresh medium and allows the camera and cart to communicate between each other efficiently. Also one other thing that might have happened is that the protect lock has been engaged. The camera SD card has a lock protection switch on the left upper side (with the letter facing up) this little switch need to be pushed to the top edge towards the gold contacts. I'll supply a diagram, there is also another thing is this a new memory card? if so did you format the card to the camera before you used it? Also your camera has some SD card memory capacity restrictions these are shown on page 242 of your manual.

I am trying to upload pictures from my camera. When I plug it in and select to upload to my pc, the camera says "one moment" then does nothing from that point.

Maybe your PC still don't recognize your camera. Have you installed the driver properly ? Sometimes a driver need an internet connection to be activated. Or there is OS problem, like if you installed x32-Windows based driver in x64-Windows based PC, or the opposite.
I think you need to reinstall your driver, if the problem persist just take off the memory card and use a card reader to open it.
Hope this help. (^_^)

I have some pictures in a Nikon coolpix 7600 digital camera and want to download or empty out the camera. Need an empty camera for my holiday tomorrow. How can I do that

Quickest and simplest way is to get a new memory card. If you are off on holiday tomorrow you won't have time to mess with drivers and cables to download to computer. Take out the old memory card and deal with it on your return. A new, empty one can be obtained at any camera shop, even while you are on holiday.

Driver Sanyo Xacti VPC-T700 Digital Camera?

If you have problems with finding or installing drivers, don't use them, use a card reader instead.
But if you want the drivers and software, search on the Internet or go to the manufacturer's site and download what you need.
Use a card reader, and skip the use of software and drivers.
A card reader saves time and effort, especially if you have more than one kind of digital camera or device which uses a memory card.
\A card reader will show as a mass storage device. It will show up as another drive and can be accessed as a drive.

I am not able to install the software on a cd for disney pix mic

If you have Microsoft Vista then you're in trouble. Digital Blue is the maker of the camera and software. The editing software that ships with the unit is available there for download...but the driver...WHICH YOU WILL NEED...contains an empty .INF file...meaning if you have Vista you cannot use this camera. My advice is to return it for a refund.

Samsung digital camera S730. Would like to view photos on computer. First time user and we've lost our written instructions on how to do it.

Hopefully you have already solved this problem, but if not...You need the driver for the camera. It came on the CD that came with your camera. Insert the CD to install the program. Then you should be able to insert the SD card in a card reader plugged in via USB, or plug the camera in with the USB cord, or plug the SD card directly in your computer if it has the slot for it. Any of those actions should trigger Windows to ask you what you want to do. You can copy to your computer or whatever. If you lost the CD (like I did) look on the internet for Samsung S730 drivers. You can download them for free from several sources (even the Samsung site).

Driver update problem for digital camera

In order to get rid of the error, you have uninstall the driver, update your operating system with updates from Microsoft (see below for instructions) and follow these suggestions:
  1. Best method, copy the photos to the computer by connecting a card reader to the computer and plug the SD card into the card reader and transfer using your favorite software (like Picasa) or through My Computer.
  2. Drivers are not required for the A400 and Windows XP. So you can plug in the camera, without drivers and it should work. This appears to be the one that's not working, You need to un-install the drivers and either reinstall, try updated drivers from the links below, or don't use the drivers.
This information is in the manual on page 96. See this link for the manual.

See this link for details about the WIA driver.

About the error "driver update failed" rea

I personally have stopped altogether trying to get the drivers and software installed because they can cause more problems. I just transfer using a card reader.

If you want to use the software that comes with the A400, it's best to install ZoomBrowser, then you will need to follow to this link to get the update to this software.

Once this is done, reboot your machine to make sure the system is then up-to-date.

Make sure you have also updated your machine with Windows Updates. This is done by opening Internet Explorer and clicking on Tools | Windows Updates. Follow the links at their site to update your machine.

Can't download my pix to my computer

As this is an old post, do you still require help?

Have you contacted Kodak tech support?

Apart from the Kodak software to connect the camera, you could use a USB card reader.

Take the memory card from your camera and put in the card reader.... it transfers MUCH faster than directly from the camera too.
