Tabbed browsing using Internet explorer is like running multiple instances of Internet explorer, and depending on how your computer is using its resources, IE could be taking up the little that is left, thus your processor is overworked, and your memory is maxed out. On the other hand, you might just have a defective installation of the progra, that you could either repair through control panel > Add/Remove programs or even update
Websites with a lot of graphics will determine how much of your system resources Internet explorer will demand in addition to its required resources.
Just to add a little perspective, if you have a laptop, with 'an almost full harddisk' and a processor at say 2GHz, 2GB of RAM, and Windows Vista, McAfee or Norton Antivirus, Internet Explorer 6 through 8, Office 2007, Spybot S&D and a series of other programs that are constantly running, you're doomed, because if all those programs run their services, your computer will constantly freeze

I can't get a Live Video to start on Facebook in my group using my Logitech Pro 9000 camera. I'm using windows 10 wondering if it isn't compatible.

Don't open two programs that uses webcam, for example: if you have skype application opened with video call you can use the webcam at yahoo messenger. make show application that requires one web cam features like video calling are online opened when needed.
if the is a hidden program that you sure to have close it that is still in process, then open the task manager and click on applications, you will see and end it process there, if the problem persist then restart the computer

I am trying to open a yahoo email account not facebook not google is it possible

Hello there!

I would first ensure that your java is up-to-date by visiting:

https://java.com/en/

Download and install the latest java which is appropriate for your operating system, then restart your PC.

I would also recommend clearing your internet cache and cookies, by downloading and installing "CCleaner":

http://www.majorgeeks.com/mg/get/ccleaner_standard,1.html

When installing the program, be sure to uncheck any "extras" it tries to offer you. Start up CCleaner, and run a cleaning on your computer.. being sure that it is set to clean internet cookies, cache, etc.. Make sure that you don't have any web browsing programs (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox) running!! Run the process. Once it finishes, close the program.

Start up a web browser. I recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.. (NEVER Internet Explorer!!)

Try to access your yahoo email. If it works, great!! If not, I (like most of the other answers here) would HIGHLY recommend that you just do the wise and safe thing.. and create a gmail account.. It's free, and FARRRR more safe and secore than yahoo.

I hope my answer helps!

Am already on facebook but i can't log into facebook through yahoo

What do you mean by 'through yahoo'?

Your computer normally connects to the Internet through your ISP's equipment. You run a program such as Chrome, Firefox or (for some reason people still use) Internet Explorer. On Mac you may use Safari.

You type www.facebook.com into the address text box and hit enter and Facebook should come up.

If you use some special program from Yahoo or a link on a Yahoo web site, if you subscribe to Yahoo, you should call their tech support line for assistance.

Please do things the easy way, I always find provider's 'portal' web pages more trouble than they are worth. My home page is always www.google.com. I type in a few words about what I want and Google gives me the best links I could ask for.

Whenever I try to login to facebook or open the homepage I keep getting error message saying internet explorer needs to close has been happening for three days now

Clear your cookies & temp files. Run anti virus, and spyware & malware programs. Run a registry cleaner. Your problems should go away and your computer will probably run better too.

Login problems

make sure you are already connected to the internet. Try opening a command prompt and type:

ping yahoo.com

or

ping facebook.com

See if it resolves to an IP. But if you get a "request timed out" then you are not yet properly connected.

You might also want to flush your dns by typing:

ipconfig /flushdns
