Question about GE J Series 18.2 cu. ft. Top Freezer No-Frost Refrigerator TBX18AABWW
I FOUND THE ADAPTOR GOING TO THE COMPRESSOR AND IT WAS BURN'T UP . I WANT TO REPLACE THESE PARTS BUT I WANTED TO CHECK THE COMPRESSOR FIRST BEFORE I BOUGHT THESE PARTS.
IS THER A WAY I CAN CHECK THE COMPRESSOR's WINDING WITH A DMM BEFORE I CHANGE OUT THE CAPASITOR AND THE ADAPTOR PLUGGING INTO THE COMPRESSOR.
The comp. should have contuinity at each termminal. If it does its o.k.
Another check will be each term. wiith the housing if it gives cont.touching the comp. with any of the three terminal the comp. is no good it is grounded.
