Question about Toshiba TZ55V61 55" Rear Projection Television
I am working on a friends set that needs the convergence IC’s
replaced. I am wondering if it is
advisable to use STK392-150’s instead of the factory STK392-110’s. I see in the spec sheet that they are rated
for higher wattage, but wondering if anything will really be gained. Also, if the 150’s are used will any other
components need to be changed out such as a resistor?
STK392-150 can be replacement for 110's no other resister values need to be changed, however be sure bad resisters are replaced and check all the resisters (6) have been taken out of circuit and checked. also check for solder cracks and cold solder joints.
