Question about Sony DCR-VX2000 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
The image on the viewfinder and LCD screen is composed of red vertical lines, which do seem to change depending on which direction the camera is pointed. This just happened. The camera has operated flawlessly otherwise since I bought it a couple years ago.
Hi there. Contact sony service centre directly and ask them about replacing the ccd. I have a vx2100 which did exactly the same thing. Sony admits that there was a problem with the ccd's used in these cameras and replaced them for free, maybe the same for your camera. good luck
