My ipod silver apple nano locked by code and i forgaet my code kindly help me

U might try holding the select and menu buttons together to reset the i-pod b4 you connect to a computer so they start up at the same time. this might make it a lil easier to connect to i-tunes.

You first have to find out if it's a screen lock (you can succesfully connect it to your computer) or a "manage lock" (connecting doesn't work too)
if it's a screen lock, connect the ipod the the computer you first used it with (the one you used to install the ipod), open itunes and then disconnect again, it should be unlocked
if it's a manage lock, connect the ipod to the computer and restore the factory settings, warning, this will erase ALL data.
then reconnect it and synchronise
