Subzero 532 refrig fan(& compressor) doesn't shut off

the higher the number on a fridge the warmer it is so setting it to 1 is close to 0C
when working on a fridge or freezer always turn it off at the wall
if the fridge is keep cold but not cold enough set it back to say 3
if the compressor is running and the back fins / wall is hot then the fridge is working
use a piece of paper between the door seal and the fridge edge to ensure that it is sticking to the fridge and sealing off properly

My model is ARB 1914 CC nine years old.

your "damper vent door" located between the refrigerator and freezer compartments is frozen open or the cold adjustment contron in the refrige is bad and not powering the door as you change the temp set for the refrige and leaving it open,if the door is frozen from ice/frost just de-ice it with a hair dryer and then set the temp adjust and see if it opens and closes with any adjustment

The strip between the freezer and refrig door is extremely hot. Never felt hot before. It is not the door, but the refrig and freezer itself. The refrig is still cold and freezer is frozen.

The heat you are feeling is normal, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you start having a problem with cooling you may want to look into getting a repair guy to look at it but many refrigerators will heat up in that strip between the fridge and freezer.

I have a profile refrigerator PDS20SCPARSS, SN TF047061. If youopen the door alot ( 4 kids) te refrigerator temp goes all the way to 60deg and the freezer goes to -30. If you don't open the door at all the...

If this is struggling to maintain temperature like this, either the system is low on gas (motor running all the time) or the fan has stopped which you should be able to hear. Make sure that the fan is not just jammed.also check the return air vent in the fridge as if this gets stuck with a spillage ie O.J. etc, the fridge cannot get air from the freezer and the freezer runs continually (-30) but the thermostat never cuts out in the fridge. Last idea most likely.

Icemaker works fine but no water at door. Have water at bottom of door at quick connect but not at dispenser.

At the bottom of the freezer door ( remove the kick plate ) , there will be a water line . Follow this line , about 6 " to a connector . Push in on the white ring and pull out the line , at the same time . Activate the water dispensor pad and see if water flows from the line under the refrig . If it does , then the line in the door is frozen . Either raise the freezer temp for several days , so the line in the door will thaw , or , I have heard using an air tank will blow the ice out of the line in the door . If no water comes from the line under the refrig , while activating the pad , then replace the water valve , behind the refrig , the piece the wall water line connects to on the refrig . There is also , a dispenser heater , pt . # WR49X10173 , which comes with instructions , to keep this grom happening again .

Swan fridge freezer-freezer dones,nt get down to temperature but fridge is working fine.if you turn up the thermostat the fridge acts like a freezer

There is a damper door that opens and closes when you move the thermostat. I would bet the door is functioning incorrectly. All the cooling of a refrig comes from the freezer and gets blown into the refrigerator compartment. If that damper door is open too far it will have constant freezer air blowing in....and if it's not open enough obviously the refrig will not get cool. Look at the upper left corner of your refrigerator, the center rear wall of the refrig or just feel around for a vent will cool air blowing out of it......Then take it apart and see if anything is broken.

WARM REFRIGERATOR

Sounds like the damper isn't opening. Put you hand on the Left wall of the fridge side, at the top. If you feel No Air. Then there is your issue. Bad Damper Motor. Also check the back wall of the freezer, there sould be No Frost. If there is then you have a defrost issue. Not a damper problem. One more thing. Make sure when you shut the fridge door, the light goes out. About a half inch or so before the door is completly shut, the light will go out, if not then thats your issue. Let me know how you make out.

Ge profile artica refer fan speed PSS29NHPBWW

hmmmm no thats peculiar it will slow down and start back each time the doors are open also fan will turn on even if fridge is turned off if a door is opened londer than 3 mins. If the fan still operates irradicly even in the liner protect mode (turn refrig off open door for 3 mins, fan turns on) then the main board is faulty not uncommon for these refrigs.
