I am flying to Tokyo on the 24th of March and returning on the 13th of April. My UK passport expires in mid August. Is my passport valid for travel or do I need to renew it.?

if the 24th of March and 13th of April are in the same year, preceding the mid-August expiration date - it is valid for travel.

I have a Samsung scx-4521X fax/printer. Now on this model it has an option to print "sent reports". My question is does the memory only hold 1 page of sent report or can i access reports going...

Hi - The manual (as you probably know) just says "recently sent" and doesn't specify for how long and there does not appear to be any setting to modify the report

Since it doesn't actually print the whole fax but just basic info like number faxed to, date-time, pages, fax title, etc. why don't you just print the report and see?

Thanks for inquiring at Fix Ya.

What button do I press to generate a Fax report - this is not always generated automatically.

Sounds like your Fax Options are set to print on error only. If you want to have both confirmations and error pages do the following:
1 Press Menu until “Fax Setup” appears on the top line of the display. Press Enter.
2 Use the scroll button to find MSG Confirm. Press enter.
3 It may be selected to On-Err. Use the scroll arrow buttons to get to On. Press Enter.
4 To return to Standby mode, press Stop/Clear.
This should make your fax print out a confirmation on a successful or failure transmit of your fax.
If you want to print out the last few sent or receive faxes:
Printing a Report
1 Press Menu until “Reports” appears on the top line of the display.
2 Press the scroll arrow buttons to display the report or list you want to print on the bottom line.
•Phone Book: Phonebook list •Sent Report: Sent fax report •RCV Report: Received fax report •System Data: System data list •Scheduled Jobs: Scheduled job information •MSG Confirm: Message confirmation •Junk Fax List: Junk fax number list
3 Press Enter. The selected information prints out.
You can find your manual in English by clicking here.
Good luck!

How can i generate incoming call report ?

To print a report:
  1. Press the [Menu] button on the Control Panel, until Reports is displayed on the top line of the Display Screen. The Phone Book menu item will be displayed on the bottom line.

  2. Press the right or left arrow button to scroll until the report or list you want to print is displayed on the bottom line.
    • Phone Book: Phonebook list
    • Sent Report: Sent fax report
    • RCV Report: Received fax report
    • System Data: System data list
    • Scheduled Jobs: Scheduled job information
    • MSG Confirm: Message confirmation
    • Junk Fax List: Junk fax number list
  3. Press [Enter] to print the selected information.
Your machine can print reports containing useful information. The following reports are available:
  • Phonebook List: This list shows all of the numbers currently stored in the machine's memory as Speed Dial and Group Dial numbers. You can print this phonebook list using the [Phonebook] button.
  • Sent Fax Repor: This report shows information of the faxes you recently sent.
  • Received Fax Report: This report shows information of the faxes you recently received.
  • System Data List: This list shows the status of the user-selectable options. You may print this list to confirm your changes after changing any settings.
  • Scheduled Job Information: This list shows the document currently stored for Delayed faxes or Toll Save faxes. The list shows the starting time and type of operation.
  • Message Confirmation: This report shows the fax number, the number of pages, the elapsed time of the job, the communication mode, and the communication results. You can set up your machine to automatically print the message confirmation report after each fax job.
  • Junk Fax Number List: This list shows up to 10 fax numbers specified as the junk fax numbers by using the Junk Fax Setup menu. When the Junk Fax Barrier feature is turned on, incoming faxes from those numbers will be blocked. This feature recognizes the last 6 digits of the fax number set as a remote fax machine’s ID.
  • Multi-Communication Report: This report is printed automatically after sending documents from more than one location.
  • Power Failure Report: This report is printed out automatically when power is restored after a power failure, if any data loss occurs due to the power failure.

NOTE: The lists you have set to automatically print out will not print out when there is no paper loaded or a paper jam has occurred.

Can't set to print transmission report only on error

Hi:

Press the menu key and the down arrow key to get to the lists menu. Press enter . Press the down arrow key until you get to the menu list and press enter to print it. You need to go to Reports and Lists which I believe is under Machine settings. Reports and Lists is where you need to make the change from always to on error only.

Good Luck

Canon i-sensys fax-L100

The machine keeps in memory only reports of faxes sent or received until the page is full. When the report page is full, the earliest fax is removed to make way for the most recent. Therefore if you sent enough faxes after 4 Apr 08 to fill a page, there will be no record.
