Hi, Its quite an old machine but of course you can have more than one monitor connected to it. But first you will need to install a graphics with 2 VGA ports on it. Given the age of the computer it will not support AGP cards but rather PCI cards which you can still get. With the computer how it you can't have 2 monitors because the graphics are integrated so you will need a PCI graphics card.
Regards.

Thank you, so allI change is the graphics card? Do I need to add a video card?

Yes it will but that will also depend on your graphics card to a degree.
To do it properly you need to install a new graphics card and disable the on-board graphics card from the bios.
Your new card should support std VGA as well as DVI
DVI is also capable of being hooked up to many large screen tvs

- You need to purchase a PCI graphics card as your computer only has that type of slot.
NOTE this is NOT PCI-EXPRESS !
That card is then installed in the computer in a free available slot.
With the monitor still plugged into the original port you start the machine and enter the BIOS.
In there you look for the option to change the shared memory that is used by the on-board card, then change which card it will look at first the option may be worded along the lines of "initalise graphics adapter first" and then after it you should be able to select on-board or PCI.
You would select PCI then exit the BIOS but using the SAVE option.
You should now be able to plug your monitor into the new card and have a display.
If not double check the bios steps.
Once you do have a dis[play using the new card then you may also notice an increase in overall speed on your computer.
When selecting a graphics card buy one with the largest amount of memory on it that you can afford.
You will thank everybody for that later

you need to add another video card (probably an inexpensive PCI card will do) or one that can run two monitors. Typically the machine won't have the option when purchased unless you asked for it. After that right click your desktop and change the vido settings which will allow you to set up the dual monitors

Sir, I have a Intel 945GCM-S+ICH7 Chipsets Motherboard. I am facing a problem since from last 4 months that whenever I insert any data storage device(like Pen Drive, iPod etc), my windows suddenly crashes. I am using Windows XP SP3. I have tried many solutions but my problem still persist. I have reinstalled the windows, and many more things I have performed but nothing happens. I think its the problem with motherboard.
