Program I managed to lose the program you need to install the music. Where can I get a copy of it?

My mp3 player for some reason doesn't have the drivers on the device itself to install or play music. When I turn it on it either gives me an error message or just is continually updating the database. The interesting thing is it doesn't have any music on it so I don't under stand how it can "update the database."

How do I take Music Off on my iTouch

By default iTunes set to automatically sync your library to your iPod. This is useful for a quick sync, but not to manage your music in a more personal way. The settings can be modified to iTunes all the songs on the iPod that you do not want at this time. Alternatively, if you want to transfer music from your iPod to your computer, what can be done using a third-party program?

iTunes manual settings

1. Connect your iPod to your computer, open iTunes if it does not open automatically.

2. Click the name of your iPod in the iTunes sidebar "on the left to access the control panel of the iPod, and then click the" Summary "tab if it is not selected.

3. Check the box next to "Manually manage music and videos" and click Apply.

4. Add music to your iPod by selecting the songs, click and drag them over the name of your iPod in the sidebar. You can also scroll through the list of music on your iPod and remove all the songs you no longer want. Download and install a program like Copy Trans download free iPod or iPod Rip Share Pod. These programs are designed to have the media on your iPod, copy it to your computer.

2. Disable iTunes auto-sync. This is very important that the library is empty and does not want their iPod data, which can prevent the return of cleaning. Click "Edit" then "Preferences". Click the "Devices" tab. Check the box that says "Prevent iPods, iPhones and automatically synchronizes Cases", click "OK" to save your settings. After that, you can close iTunes.

3. Open the program you just installed, and then connect your iPod. The program displays a list of drives on your computer, your iPod will be one of them, but may take some time to appear in the list. Select your iPod in the list and the list of contents appears in the program window.

4. Select the option to export / content from iPod to PC. Choose a folder to store the contents of entry. Since there will be many files are moved to consider a new folder on your desktop and copy all information from your iPod from there.
When i try to sync my SA3025/37 with the songs that i have downloaded from Napster to my win media player10 as soon as the sync process starts i get an error message (win has encountered unknown problem)...

Hi,

Download & install the latest synching program.

Set your music files in the desired playback order by naming them in alphanumerical sequence such as 001_Drunken Monkey.mp3 followed by 002_Massachusetts.mp3 etc. prior to your transferring into the Digital Audio Player.

IMPORTANT: The player does not support the playback of copy protected (Digital Rights Management - DRM) music purchased from internet music stores.

You can download non copy protected music to the player via Windows Explorer

Hook up your player with the PC via the supplied USB cable.

Run Windows Explorer, and select the files to download from your music file source directory.

Drag and drop the selected files to the player, which is named as Philips in Windows Explorer.

Once the transfer process is complete, click on the removal icon on the task tray to stop and eject the player. When a message appears saying the USB device can now be safely removed from the system, click OK.

Unplug from the PC and enjoy the music on your player.

Upgrade the firmware

You can find the current Firmware version of your player in the settings menu under "Information".

Regularly check www.philips.com/support for new Firmware updates. If your firmware version is the same as the latest version posted on the support site then there is NO need to update the firmware.

However, if you do not have the latest version follows the steps below.

Connect the player to your PC.

Launch the Philips Device Manager at Start -> Programs -> Philips Digital Audio Player -> SA30XX -> Philips SA30XX Device Manager on your PC.

If you do not have this program installed yet, install it from the by-packed CD or download it from www.philips.com/support.

Make sure all other applications such as Windows Media Player or Windows Explorer that access the device are closed or else Device Manager will not recognize the device.

Make sure you are connected to the internet.

Click update, then follows on screen instruction to complete the firmware upgrade.

Good Luck.

Live, Love, Laugh.

Is it really asking you for ur software installation CD?

Most probably it may be asking you for your Operating System Installation CD. Please insert the Windows 2000 SP4 CD into the drive and try continuing with the installation

Best of luck

:)

How to download music

When your MP3 Player is connected to a computer, you may transfer music files to your MP3 player using your operating system's basic file management commands (i.e., copy-and-paste or drag-and-drop). Please refer to your computer's documentation for more information and support. If you have Windows Media Player installed on your computer (or another, similar program), you may choose to use its media management functions to transfer your files.
