My True Temp oven was in the middle of cleaning when it started beeping and flashing F2. What does this mean. i immediately turned off the oven but the beeping comes back every two minutes.

  • Anonymous Nov 22, 2008

How do I get my oven to stop beeping and displaying F2?

  • Anonymous Nov 30, 2008

Yes, I have the same problem with our GE True Temp Oven. We set the self cleaning function and mid way through its cycle the F2 light flashed on and the oven kept beeping every 2 minutes. We've lost our manual as well so we're at a loss on what to do.

I have a GE electric oven mode JSP48G*J2. It has a mechanical clock/timer that has gone bad. The replacement part is WB19X10007, but I'd like to see the instructions for installing this before I go spend...

Normally the mechanical timers have only 2 terminals. Active supply in and oven load out. It doesn't matter which wire you put where. If you don't use the timer just join the active supply and the load together and the oven will work.

My GE wall Oven Model #jctp18ba1bb is not working.the board is blankm the only thing that works is the oven light. Is there any kind of thermal fuses etc. in this oven.thge control board was replaced 8...

When you say board I assume you mean the electronic clock/timer. This timer directly affects the oven operation. Even if the internal oven fuse is blown or the thermal overload is tripped the electronic timer and oven light will always work. If the oven light works and the electronic timer/clock does not I'd say that the timer/clock is faulty.

My GE Oven heating element and timer clock went

Try unplugging the oven and let sit for 10 min. This will reset the curcuit board and reboot the electronics. You may have to pull out the stove o get to the cord.
